We’re happy to welcome Ella and her students back to Beacon Climbing Centre as Yoga classes start again this week.

If you have you ever wondered what difference a regular yoga practice could make to your climbing or just to your life in general, then now is your chance to find out. Ella Williams of Nalini Yoga offers regular weekly Yoga classes here at Beacon that can help you to develop strength, stability, core, balance and flexibility, in addition to aiding general well-being by helping you to counteract the stresses of daily life. The current class schedule is:

  • Hatha Flow Yoga: Mondays 6:15pm – 7:20pm.

  • Hatha Yoga for all levels: Wednesdays 7:45pm – 8:55pm.

Due to the popularity of Ella’s classes, booking in advance is necessary to secure your place for each class. Please use the booking link provided below. Sessions are available in blocks of 6 for £50, with single sessions available for £8.50 only on a last minute basis if block booking spaces have not been filled. You must bring your own mat and leave any non-essential items in the car.

Please note the following Covid-19 procedures when attending classes:

  • Ella can no longer lend out equipment due to Covid-19 restrictions, so please bring your own mat (block and straps too if you wish) as well as some water and some layers.

  • MASKS MUST BE WORN when moving inside the building; these can be removed when on your mat.

  • Social distancing will be in place.

  • Due to limited spacing and capacity – please leave anything else in your vehicle so that the room has clear areas for moving about, free of bags.

  • Please do NOT attend if you are feeling unwell – Covid-19 symptoms are varied and different from individual to individual so just in case, take some time at home to rest instead!

  • Please do not arrive too early, if you need to wait briefly you can do so in the cafe to avoid any congestion in the corridor outside class.

  • Toilets can be used downstairs prior to the class for washing and sanitizing your hands.
