Legendary climber Wolfgang Güllich once said: “The brain is the most important muscle for climbing.”
Utilising the power of your mind will make the most of your existing strength, techniques and ability to perform under pressure not just in climbing, but in all sport. Jerry Moffatt, who inspired generations of climbers, invites you to explore and maximise your mental potential.
“What you think largely determines what you will ultimately become.”
Join us at Beacon Climbing Centre on Saturday 18th November to hear Jerry talk about his journey to the top of the sport during the 1980s and 1990s, in addition to discussing his new sports psychology book: Mastermind, due out this Autumn. Copies of the book will be available to purchase after the lecture in the Beacon cafe, during which time Jerry will also be available for book signing.
Venue: Beacon Climbing Centre
Date: Saturday 18th November
Tickets: £15 / person
Please note that all roped climbing areas will close at 6.30pm and all other climbing activities must cease by 7pm.
