It is now a legal requirement to wear a face covering in indoor public places in Wales, including Beacon Climbing Centre, from 14th September 2020.

Masks must now be worn inside Beacon on arrival, when belaying, and when moving around the centre, including in the corridors, toilets, stairs and cafe. Exceptions to the mask wearing law are when eating and drinking in the cafe, and when you are actually climbing. Under 11s are exempt from the new law. If you arrive at the centre without a mask, we do have masks available to purchase at reception.

We advise all users of Beacon Climbing Centre to take 5 minutes to read through the information on the Welsh Government website regarding face covering guidance to give you an understanding of the scope of the new legislation and why it has been introduced.
