Safety Inspections
All climbing wall managers should have systems in place for checking equipment, dealing with loose climbing holds and looking out for any potential problems with the structure of the climbing wall.
In addition to these on-going checks, there should also be a thorough periodic inspection of the climbing wall, the frequency of which is usually annual, although this is subject to variation depending on the type of climbing wall installation and how heavily the climbing wall is used. Beacon Climbing offer a comprehensive climbing wall safety inspection service to help you operate a safe and successful climbing facility.

Our inspections comprise of detailed checks of both the front surface and (where accessible) the framework of your climbing wall. On completion a full report will be issued, detailing the inspection procedure, highlighting issues for concern and advising on how urgently any issues should be dealt with. Minor defects discovered during the inspection procedure will, where possible, be rectified at no additional cost.
To give you the most competitive price for an inspection we ideally need the following information:
-
Name of the original manufacturer
-
Evidence if any of conformity to EN12572
-
Date of installation
-
Style & approximate size of climbing wall
-
Copy of your last inspection report
-
Photos of your wall
