By signing up for a Beacon course you are acknowledging the BMC’s participation statement below.
“The British Mountaineering Council recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”
You will be taking part in an instructor led session, and no group member may climb without the instructor’s supervision. It is the instructor’s responsibility to ensure that you have a safe, fun climbing experience, and it is vital that you cooperate with the instructors and centre staff.

All session/course bookings are made with Beacon Climbing Ltd, Registered Company No. 04540825, Registered Office: Beacon Climbing Centre, Ceunant, Caernarfon, Gwynedd LL55 4SA.

Neither Beacon Climbing Ltd. nor any of its representatives are responsible for injury sustained in the centre, nor are they liable for any losses of personal property.

Beacon Climbing Ltd instructors reserve the right to remove participants from any session if it is deemed their behaviour places at risk the safety or enjoyment of the individual or others.

Fees are payable by cheque to Beacon Climbing Ltd., or by cash, credit or debit card.

In order to reserve a place on a course or open session, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Private Sessions

In order to reserve a private taster session a deposit equal to or greater than the sum of the instructor fees must be paid at the time of booking. The balance of all fees (including those for catering) must be received no later than 3 weeks prior to the session commencing. Unless agreed otherwise, failure to pay the balance of the session fee will be treated as a cancellation.

Alternations to participant numbers:a. Changes in participant numbers is at the discretion of Beacon Climbing Ltd.
b. Reduction in numbers advised more than 3 weeks prior to course commencement will receive a full refund.
c. A reduction in participant numbers advised within 3 weeks of session commencement will not receive any refund. -
Room hire will be subject to a £50 deposit (payable in advance or on the day) returnable after the event, upon leaving the room in good condition.
Cancellation by the Client

All cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective from the date of receipt by Beacon Climbing Ltd.

The course/session fee is refundable (or transferable to an alternative time) up until 3 weeks before the day of the session.

Within 3 weeks of the course/session commencing the fee is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, and can only be transferred to an alternative date/course at the discretion of Beacon Climbing Ltd.

Within 3 days of the course/session commencing we are unable to transfer your booking to an alternative date.

Cancellation of a food order between 3 weeks and 1 week of the session commencing will result in a 50% refund of the food order. Cancellation within 7 days of the session commencing will result in no refund.
Cancellation by Beacon Climbing Ltd.

Beacon Climbing Ltd. will make every attempt to ensure that the course/session will run. However, Beacon Climbing Ltd. reserves the right to cancel a session or course. For a course to run we require a minimum of two participants.

In the event of Beacon Climbing Ltd. cancelling a course/session the client shall be entitled to one of the following:a. A full refund of all money paid.
b. A transfer to an alternative course/session.
c. A transfer to an alternative date.
