The Cragg
A disused squash court can be the perfect location for a new climbing wall and can fit a surprising amount of climbing.
Disused squash courts have the added benefit of being a dedicated enclosed climbing area without the conflicts that climbing walls in sports halls can create.
Constructed in 2009, this bouldering wall at The Cragg in Suffolk made full use of an old squash court with a relatively multifaceted design and loads of interesting angle changes. The climbing wall gives good variety to climbers of all abilities, accommodating approximately 60 boulder problems.
