Big Rock Climbing Centre

Opened in September 2010, Big Rock Climbing Centre is an exciting new development in Milton Keynes.

Big rock was set up as a collaboration between Beacon Climbing Centre and two local climbers and was an ideal opportunity for Beacon Climbing Walls to implement some new and exciting bouldering wall designs.

The completed centre features a huge 600sqm bouldering area including a large freestanding boulder and a fan shaped section offering 9m long bouldering problems at a strength sapping 55 degrees overhang. The ethos of the centre is very much inclusion for all, and the bouldering facilities offer a huge variety of climbing problems at varying angles to suit all abilities.
