More about Kids Club
Kids’ Club is open to 11-16 year olds living locally and with
a genuine interest in climbing. A good instructor ratio means that
there is plenty of opportunity for children to develop their technical
and physical skills. A booklet records their progress through the
club.

More about Saturday Club
The Saturday club is more informal and provides an opportunity for
local 10-16 year olds to use the Beacon bouldering walls under the
watchful supervision of a Beacon instructor. Bouldering is the un-roped
version of indoor climbing and takes place on low walls and above
a soft landing. It allows for a more physical challenge in a sociable
and supportive environment.
Safety
 |
The safety of all customers is our primary concern at the
Beacon and we take this very seriously. All of our instructors
are qualified, are carefully vetted and are given in-house
training before they are employed. Climbing however will always
carry some risks and we ask that parents of children new to
the club come along to see the centre, fill in a parental
consent form and talk through any concerns that they might
have with a member of staff. |
