Beacon at the NEC Outdoor Show

The Beacon have just had a really succesful weekend at the Outdoor Show in the NEC, Birmingham. The Beacon were responsible for constructing a temporary climbing tower for the DMM stand so that the public could try out 'ice climbing'. The tower utilised a super dense foam that felt surprisingly realistic and thanks to the tireless supervision from Plas y brenin staff the wall was used by over 200 people over the weekend.
